Santa is a Rover 2025 - £200 raised for Action for Children.
Santa is a Rover 2025, a project thought of by Chris Needham and backed by the Black Bank, was the third iteration of Santa is a Rover. This year’s event was dedicated to long time supporter Bill Workman, aka Saturday Santa, who passed away recently in November 2025.
To mark the occasion, several supporters cam out with us dressed as Santa and even The Grinch! We walked from the Red Lion, to the Staff of Life before heading to Hyde Park Club before making our way to the stadium.
We are really happy to announce that £200 was raised for Action for Children’s Be a Secret Santa to a Vulnerable Child Campaign, which will go towards the purchase of Christmas presents to vulnerable children.
Speaking after the event, Matty Davies, Lead Volunteer said: “It is a testament to what we are wanting to achiever with the reformed Black Bank, giving back to the community and Santa is a Rover is just the first in what we hope is many more successful community events going forward”
“We would like to thank everyone who joined us on the walk, who donated to our charity appeal and for the support over the past 6 months whilst we achieve our ambitions going forward”
